growing up we had a lilac bush in our front yard. i have fond memories of the fresh picked flowers in our kitchen in spring. now every time i smell lilacs i think of home :)

ReplyDeleteThe smell of weedkiller makes me think of spring. I know it sounds gross but when I walked outside after a long day at work and smelled the weedkiller in February, I knew spring was on its way!

ReplyDeleteMy parents have a huge purple wisteria plant (like the one in your photos) in the backyard that blooms twice a year and makes the view from the house just spectacular!
