Happy Friday! I'm linking up with Christina, April, and Natasha today to share five things:

ONE: I really liked this article that outlines what all those little labels on your beauty products mean. With my newfound knowledge I realized about 90% of the things in my makeup bag are wayyy past their expiration date...whomp whomp :( 

TWO: I've been thinking about Podcasts lately. I haven't really listened to any (with the exception of Serial and This American Life). I'm taking notes from this and this list of Podcasts that all women should watch including Gilmore Guys. The show is hosted by two guys, one who has watched Gilmore Girls before and one who never has, dissecting the episodes and talking to people involved with the show...just another way to keep the gilmore love going.

THREE: Have you heard about Barbie's new shape? After almost 60 years Barbie is finally introducing dolls that have more realistic petite, tall, and curvy bodies. I grew up playing with Barbies and I'm happy about the change. Hopefully giving little girls (and boys) the opportunity to play with a variety of dolls will discourage extreme and unattainable beauty standards. A variety of dolls could also encourage more self acceptance, and awareness that beauty comes in different shapes and sizes.

FOUR: Baby Gap is having a big sale and I bought Vi an adorable coat for next winter (at more than half off!). Now I'm resisting the urge to buy all the heart things...

FIVE: When we visited Magnolia Plantation this week it made me want to visit other plantations in the area -- this is a great list of the top ten to visit.
